Authors of all publication manuscripts that have passed ANR peer review have a number of choices: they can produce the publication themselves, or they can have Communication Services produce it. Some publications may also be eligible for revenue sharing. The rates depend on the option chosen.

If Communication Services produces, pays for printing of, processes orders for, and warehouses a publication, we retain all its sales revenue. For popular publications with large sales, a sales agreement policy may apply. This policy provides for a return of some sales revenue to sponsoring programs.

If authors produce and print the publication and Communication Services processes orders for and warehouses it, Communication Services will retain a portion of the sales to cover costs and will return the balance to the program. Specific costs depend on the product.
